Living Signal Research

Evidence-informed investigations for people living with complex chronic illness.
Years of symptoms, diagnoses, testing, and specialist visits can leave anyone overwhelmed. Living Signal helps people understand unexplained symptoms by investigating meaningful patterns and connections across body systems, symptom history, diagnoses, testing, and life events.

As that picture becomes clearer, uncertainty gives way to direction, making it easier to decide what questions to ask, what information may matter most, and how to move forward.

Learn Why
Symptoms
Connect
Most chronic illness symptoms appear unrelated. Dizziness. Reflux. Fatigue. Pain. Histamine reactions. Rapid heart rate, etc.
But symptoms rarely exist alone
They emerge from the interaction between structure, nervous system regulation, blow flow, immune signaling, digestion, and the bodies attempts to compensate.
EDS Decoded helps patients understand those connections
SYMPTOMS ARE SIGNALS

SYMPTOMS ARE SIGNALS
When Every Specialist
Sees One Piece,
See the Whole Picture
Healthcare is organized into specialties. Your body isn't.

Your body doesn't experience symptoms one specialty at a time. It functions as an interconnected system, where changes in one system can influence many others. That's why understanding the connections between symptoms can be just as important as understanding the symptoms themselves. When those relationships are viewed together instead of in isolation, a clearer picture begins to emerge.

Understanding the connections between symptoms doesn't replace medical expertise, it provides the context that helps the bigger picture come into focus.
Don't see your condition listed?
Our work isn't built around diagnoses. It's built around understanding complex health stories.

Designed for Complex Chronic Illness
You Don't Need the "Right" Diagnosis to Belong Here. I commonly support people navigating:
✓ Ehlers-Danlos syndrome and hypermobility spectrum disorders

✓ Dysautonomia and Post Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS)

✓ Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS) and histamine-related symptoms

✓ Gastroparesis and complex gastrointestinal dysfunction

✓ Vascular compression and venous outflow concerns

✓ Craniocervical instability, Chiari, and CSF-pressure questions

✓ Small-fiber and autonomic neuropathy

✓ Long COVID and post-viral multisystem illness

✓ Undiagnosed or poorly explained multisystem symptoms
You do not need a confirmed diagnosis. This work is built around the pattern of your health history, not whether you already have the “right” label.
Don't see your condition listed? Complex illness doesn't always fit neatly into a single diagnosis. If your health has felt fragmented, confusing, or difficult to explain, you're in the right place.
An organized view of the body systems most relevant to your history, how they may be interacting, and where symptoms may overlap.
Whole-Body Systems Map
Symptom Pattern and Timeline
Recurring sequences, triggers, positional changes, delayed reactions, and relationships that may be easy to miss when each event is viewed separately.
Research-informed possibilities that may help explain parts of the pattern, clearly distinguished from confirmed findings, diagnoses, and areas of uncertainty.

Questions Worth Asking Next
Organized questions, observations, and discussion points to help you communicate more clearly during future appointments.
Personalized Educational Explanations
Complex physiology translated into understandable language so you can see why one system may influence another.
Next-Step Framework
A structured plan for further learning, record collection, symptom tracking, and conversations with appropriate healthcare professionals.

What You'll Leave With
More than answers.
A personalized framework for
understanding your health.
No two health histories are the same, which means no two reports are the same.

Every session is built around your symptoms, medical history, testing, diagnoses, imaging, and lived experience. I bring those pieces together, review the available evidence, identify meaningful patterns and relationships, and build a personalized framework around one of the biggest questions people with complex chronic illness often have: How does all of this fit together?

The goal is to leave you with a clearer understanding of your body, a structured framework for moving forward, and greater confidence communicating your story and participating in decisions about your car
Your Personalized Report May Include
An organized view of the body systems most relevant to your history, how they may be interacting, and where symptoms may overlap.
Organized questions, observations, and discussion points to help you communicate more clearly during future appointments.
Personalized Educational Explanations
Complex physiology translated into understandable language so you can see why one system may influence another.

Your report is built from your actual history. Depending on what you provide, I may also organize relevant laboratory results, imaging, previous diagnoses, medications, supplements, specialist findings, and areas where additional context may be useful.

Why Work With Me
I don’t claim to have every answer. What makes this work different is how I investigate the questions.
I am an independent systems-pattern researcher and health educator focused on complex, multisystem illness.
I do not look at symptoms as isolated labels. I examine their timing, triggers, sequence, positional behavior, relationships, and the physiological processes that may connect them.
My approach brings together:
- Systems-level pattern recognition
- Evidence review across medical specialties
- Long-term study of EDS and related multisystem conditions
- Respect for lived experience
- Clear separation between established findings, supported possibilities, and uncertainty
- Complex physiology translated into understandable language

I do not replace medical specialists or diagnosis. I provide the time, systems-level investigation, and context needed to examine how the different pieces of your health history may fit together.
